SOBRIS 1 & 2
In September 2007, Sabo S.A. has engaged in a new era at the Magreb area of northern Africa with the starting up of a new factory at the mountains of Saida in Algeria. This project is about the renovation of an old Morando factory which includes the renovation of the two old dryers and the tunnel kiln. Furthermore Sabo had to deliver a new cutting line as well as the loading and unloading of the two rapid dryers by this single cutting line. The new kiln car transporters, the loading system of the kiln cars with 4 grippers and the new unloading and packaging line completed the picture of the project. It is really important to say that although the contract of this project was to arrive to a production of 320 tons per day, and with only a period of 6-8 months after the starting of the extruder, the factory managed to produce more than 420 tons per day which is more than 30% of its contractual production.

SOBRIS 2 (Algeria)
After the success of Sobris 1, the customer in the end of 2009 decided to proceed with an order of a new modern packaging line for the country of Algeria. This new line has given the opportunity to the end client to receive different dimension packets with holes made in such a way that can be moved around with the use of a forklift without using a pallet as normally done in Europe. The flexibility of this machine to create different dimensions of packaging as 1,2 m x 1,2 m or 1,2 m x 0,9m or 0,9 m x 0,9 m and many other in conjunction with the customer’s needs, as well as the different final heights of 0,8 to 1,2 m, give a huge advantage to our customer as he will be able to load many different size trucks and with different effective heights. The line is in production since last October 2010 and the acceptance of the customers is really unexpected.
