At the same time with the signing of the contract for the new packaging line for the SOBRIS factory (SOBRIS 2) the customer and Sabo S.A. came also to agreement of the completion of the renovation of the BMSD factory at the same region of Saida. It is another project that declares the trust that customers have, in the name of Sabo. A rather important project that combines a line of producing 350 tons of bricks per day with a line of producing 15.000 roof tiles per day from a single kiln!
For this to happen Sabo has constructed a new rapid dryer for the drying of the bricks and has used the old chamber dryer for the drying of the roof tiles. Two setting machines in a single line and two packaging lines on another, loads firstly the kiln cars with bricks and above them with tiles and unloads them in an opposite way. The same system was previously used in another Sabo factory in Cyprus with a great success. The production of the bricks started in July 2011 and the production of the tiles is expected later this year.
