SABO SA is a Greek manufacturing company that designs, constructs and assembles production lines and turnkey plants for the brick and tile industry.
Its product range includes all machinery for the brick and tile starting from the cutting line up to the packaging line. (automations for the loading, unloading of the dryer and kiln, firing and drying systems, packaging lines, dryer and kiln equipment, chamber, tunnel and rapid dryers, tunnel kilns etc). The company is able to provide complete turnkey plants. SABO’s automations, firing and drying systems are operating successfully in many countries and customers.
The overwhelming majority of machineries that SABO is selling are manufactured in our factory in Greece. Only specialised machineries such as strapping machines, hooding machines, preparation equipment, centrifugal fans, dedusting equipment , grinding machines are not manufactured by SABO. In our turnkey solutions where such equipments are required, SABO collaborates closely with known European companies in order to provide in its customers with the suitable solution in the right price and under the guarantee and the supervision of the SABO name
SABO SA is operating actively in Greece and Cyprus and in the markets of Middle East, North Africa, Balkans and Eastern Europe. The 80% of her annual turnover comes from exports. In particular SABO is working and has completed projects in countries like Bosnia, Croatia, Fyrom, Serbia, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Czech republic, Slovac Republic, Poland, Italy, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Algeria, Tunisia, Libya, Marocco, Russia

SABO gives great emphasis in implementing all the best corporate practices to be able to provide high quality machines at competitive prices. It is certified by ISO 9001:2000 by TUV. The facilities of the company occupy 25.000m2 (two factory sites). Its machine shop is of the latest technology.
The machineries of SABO are all manufactured in its two factories in Vasiliko of Chalkis with its own personnel. More than 300 people are occupied in our four companies. The company has selected to manufacture using mainly its own resources instead of using subcontractors in order to maintain better control in the quality of its products and to provide better and more effective after sales service.
Some other important facts
• SABO has constructed and is able to construct from small factories of 150tons per day (approx 52.500 tons per year) up to gigantic factories of 2000 tons per day (700.000 tons per year)
• It has supplied in the past turn-key plants showing its abilty in providing projects of such scale and complexity
• SABO is one of the main suppliers of the well known multinational brick and tile company Wienerberger which owns more than 250 factories all over the world. SABO has provided for Wienerberger automations (the kiln and dryer was done by Wienerberger itself) for 3 factories in Romania, 3 factories in Hungary and currently 1 factory in Russia.
• SABO is also cooperating with the heavy clay division of the well known Italian giant SACMI (main activity the floor tiles and the sanitaryware) to construct together factories in Italy and Romania.
• SABO, operating in many different countries has the experience in handling, drying and firing of all the different kind of bricks and tiles.
SABO has also been involved very successfully in the modernization in the upgrade of many existing facilities in order to increase the capacity or to solve quality problems.
