Dimitris Kiliaris founded SABO Hellas in the privately-owned area at Vassiliko in Greece.

Installation of the first automation in Greece, designed and produced by Sabo, Italy.
1985-1990

1st Kiln construction for Heavy Clay.

Establishment of SABO Electric S.A. in Greece (company of SABO Group from 1988 to 2017).

1992-1993

Establishment of SICAP S.A., a Greek company specialized in public works, private projects, and construction of industrial buildings.

Completion of 1st Turn-key Plant in Greece and 1st project in Cyprus for Heavy Clay.
1994

1st Expansion of production facilities in Vassiliko which concluded with a total covered area of 8.000 sq.m.

Establishment and expansion of the Industrial Solutions sector, collaboration with “BSH” (PITSOS) and Frigoglass.

Establishment of SABO Filiere S.A. in Greece (former Crom SA) producing augers, dies, spare parts for brick extrusion, chrome plating and anti-wear coating.

Development of Heavy oil burners (Heavy Clay) and geographical and product expansion with the 1st Rapid Dryer in North Africa, Tunisia.
