Cylinder lubrication is arguably the most critical factor, after fuel, affecting the condition and smooth operation of a vessel’s Main Engine (M/E). Lubrication technology has evolved alongside engine design; however, many vessels still operate with older engine models equipped with Mechanical Lubricator Systems.
Despite being an older technology, the Mechanical Lubricator remains highly reliable if it is properly maintained. As this technology gradually fades from widespread use, so too does the expertise required for its proper upkeep.

Scope of Work (including but not limited to):
Full timing inspection & recording
Complete dismantling of the lubricator
Thorough cleaning, visual inspection, and evaluation of all components
Replacement of seals & O-rings
Inspection of pneumatic & electrical connections
Reassembly & timing adjustment
Feed rate calculation, evaluation, and adjustment with condition-based recommendations
Load Change Dependent (LCD) operation check & relevant recommendations
Detailed Service Report with findings & proposals
