SABO Group: World Day for Safety and Health at Work

Guided by our slogan “Safety Is Not Luck! It Is an Attitude and a Choice.”, the SABO Group proudly honors the World Day for Safety and Health at Work.
As part of our ongoing commitment to creating a safe and healthy working environment, we implemented a meaningful initiative featuring presentations by specialized professionals.
Our Safety Engineer, George Liagkovas, presented the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), emphasizing its critical role in daily operations and accident prevention.
In addition, the Fitness in Greece team — Angelos Sofronis and Sara Ibrahim — introduced practical ergonomics techniques aimed at improving posture, reducing physical strain, and enhancing overall workplace well-being.
The initiative concluded with an interactive quiz, allowing participants to consolidate their knowledge in an engaging and participatory manner.
This initiative gains even greater importance as it was carried out in the context of the World Day for Safety and Health at Work, reminding us that prevention, education, and the well-being of our people are not only responsibilities, but absolute priorities.
Because safety and health are not just procedures.
They are a culture.
