Automatic Handling and Palletizing project for SARANTIS GROUP

Our successful collaboration with Gr. Sarantis S.A., one of Greece’s leading consumer products companies, continues with the implementation of another Automatic Handling and Palletizing project.

The expansion of the existing palletizing system will create a centralized, fully automated line capable of serving four production lines simultaneously.

Operation of the line:

• Product conveying is carried out via modular chain conveyors installed in height, hanged from the roof, allowing personnel full access to the production areas.

• The products are moving to spiral conveyors and after that are grouped according to the required palletizing patterns through special conveying systems. The robotic arm is placing the groups of products on the pallets.

• The pallets are transferred to a new automatic stretch film wrapping machine with a rotating arm, ensuring fast and secure wrapping, with the option to add a top cover.

• After wrapping, an automatic print & apply system place the labels on the pallets before they are collected by the forklift.
