Robotic Bag Palletizer Installation for OMYA

SABO Robotics Team successfully designed & installed one automatic robot bag palletizer for our client OMYA, a worldwide distributor of specialty materials and a leading global producer of essential minerals.
The project involved the installation of a Fanuc M-410iC/185 robot equipped with a custom special designed gripper, capable of efficient and quick handling of the bags.
The project started from receiving the bags from the existing bagging machine and moving them to the robot palletizer through PVC belt conveyors.
The bags are moved inside the robot palletizer where the robot pick one bag per cycle through a roller conveyor and loads the pallet.
The robot gripper is also able to pick carton interlayer when is required.
The empty pallet feeding is done automatically through a pallet destacker and roller conveyors.
